Island hopping is the itinerary flat maps ruin -- a fan of straight lines across the Aegean that looks nothing like the trip. Done properly, the ferry legs curve along real sea lanes, the water does the visual heavy lifting, and the video feels like the deck of the boat. Here's the full setup.

About this guide and its evidence

Published by RouteFlick, the maker of the product described here. This is first-party guidance, not an independent review.

Route previews are actual exports. An example route illustrates a workflow; it does not prove every feature or a competitor's output. Export speed depends on your device.

Creator workflow and comparison documentation reviewed October 5, 2026. Named vendor sources support the documented facts; this is not a purchased-plan test or an export-speed benchmark. Unknown specifications are marked as not verified. Confirm current terms before buying.

## The routes

- The classic Cyclades line: Athens -> Mykonos -> Paros -> Santorini, with Crete as the big finish.
- The quieter version: swap Mykonos for Naxos and add Milos -- same shape, fewer crowds.
- The Ionian alternative: Corfu -> Lefkada -> Kefalonia -> Zakynthos, greener water, same format.
- Sailing charter: your actual week's route, harbour to harbour, with the sailboat vehicle.

## The Aegean look

- Vivid is the style -- its bathymetry makes the water go from turquoise shallows to deep blue exactly where the real sea does.
- Route colour: white. On the blue Aegean it's the Cyclades palette in one decision.
- Vehicle: ferry for the big crossings, sailboat if it was a charter.
- Camera: Flow -- the direct route-following camera suits a trip that's mostly horizon.

## Settings to copy

1. Sea legs everywhere between islands -- they route along real ferry lanes automatically.
2. Add the inbound flight to Athens as leg one; the arc-then-boats structure tells the whole trip.
3. Speed 1x; island hops are short legs, and the water deserves the screen time.
4. One photo per island: the sunset, the harbour, the dome -- pick the icon, skip the rest.

💡 Honeymoon cut: switch the same trip to the warm Vintage style and re-export -- same route, two moods, two posts.

Vertical for Reels -- Aegean blues are made for phone screens -- and it loops beautifully: the pull-out over the islands flows straight back into the opening zoom.
