**RouteFlick Editorial**Product guide from the team building RouteFlick

Published August 10, 2026Updated October 5, 2026

An itinerary document is a list of place names and dates. Nobody has ever been sold a holiday by a list. What actually closes the booking is the moment the client sees the shape of the trip -- the line curving down the Dalmatian coast, the rail leg crossing the Alps, the river bending through four countries. Late summer is when next season's departures go on sale, which makes it the right month to turn the itineraries you're already writing into something people can watch.

About this guide and its evidence

Published by RouteFlick, the maker of the product described here. This is first-party guidance, not an independent review.

Route previews are actual exports. An example route illustrates a workflow; it does not prove every feature or a competitor's output. Export speed depends on your device.

Creator workflow and comparison documentation reviewed October 5, 2026. Named vendor sources support the documented facts; this is not a purchased-plan test or an export-speed benchmark. Unknown specifications are marked as not verified. Confirm current terms before buying.

## Watch the result before you use it

This is a finished RouteFlick video for **South Africa Garden Route**, not an illustration or simulated interface.

## The itinerary video, in one afternoon

1. Type the stops in departure order -- the same list that's already in your itinerary PDF.
2. Set each leg's mode. Available road-provider paths, bundled rail/sea/river networks and mapped corridors help depict the trip. Coverage varies and an arc fallback is possible; the video is not navigation.
3. Set the route colour to your brand colour and pick the map style that matches your marketing -- Vivid for social, Satellite for wilderness product, Atlas or Vintage (Pro) for premium and heritage tours.
4. Title card: the tour name and the departure date. That's the frame clients screenshot and forward.
5. Add one photo per stop from your existing image library, then export.

## Selling the shape of the trip

- Distance badges answer the question every client asks late in the sales conversation: how much of this is travelling? Show it rather than defending it.
- Pacing is the honest sell. A 14-day tour with short hops reads as relaxed; a big-country loop reads as an expedition. The video pre-qualifies the client for you.
- Turn the terrain up (Pro) for anything mountainous -- the Andes, the Alps, the Rockies. Clients pay for scenery, so show it in the map.
- One video per departure variant. The 10-day and the 14-day of the same tour look genuinely different, and that difference is what people are choosing between.

## Free plan or Pro?

Free gives as many watermarked Full HD (1080p) exports as you like, at 30 fps, up to 10 stops, Natural/Vivid/Satellite styles and two starter soundtracks. Pro offers watermark-free output up to 4K at 60 fps on supported devices, up to 100 stops, premium looks and cameras, custom music and GPX/KML/GeoJSON import. Published Pro pricing is $4.89/month or $39/year; confirm current offers and plan limits before purchasing.

RouteFlick's Terms permit commercial exported videos on Free and Pro, subject to those Terms and the rights to music, photos and other media you include. Review required credits and usage permissions before publishing brochures, ads, landing pages or client emails. Pro removes the watermark; it does not clear supplied media rights.

💡 Batch them. Style one trip for your brand, duplicate it per tour, swap the stops and title, then export. Route preparation and export time depend on route complexity, your device and your connection.

## Where these actually go

- On the tour page, above the day-by-day -- it's the asset that keeps people on the page long enough to read it.
- In the quote email. A 30-second video attached to a proposal separates you from the two competing PDFs in the client's inbox.
- Reels and TikTok, vertical, one per departure -- route content performs because it's specific, not generic destination footage everyone else is also using.
- Pre-departure: the same video, re-sent a week before travel, is the best 'you're actually going' email you can write.
- Trade shows and agent training: a looping route video explains a complex multi-country product faster than a person can.

The itineraries are already written. This is just the version of them that people watch.

**Your route. Your preview. Your video.**

With free styles, cameras and sounds: as many Full HD (1080p) exports as you like, at 30 fps with a RouteFlick watermark, up to 10 stops per trip. No account or card required to create and export. Pro: up to 4K at 60 fps, watermark removal and GPX/KML/GeoJSON import. Available output depends on your plan, browser and device.
