**RouteFlick Editorial**Product guide from the team building RouteFlick

A road trip is a story with a clear line on the map -- which makes it ideal for an animated route video, both to plan the trip and to remember it.

About this guide and its evidence

Published by RouteFlick, the maker of the product described here. This is first-party guidance, not an independent review.

Route previews are actual exports. An example route illustrates a workflow; it does not prove every feature or a competitor's output. Export speed depends on your device.

Creator workflow and comparison documentation reviewed October 5, 2026. Named vendor sources support the documented facts; this is not a purchased-plan test or an export-speed benchmark. Unknown specifications are marked as not verified. Confirm current terms before buying.

## Map the stops in order

Add each town or landmark as a stop, in driving order. Use real names and countries so each pin gets a clean label. If you already mapped the trip elsewhere and exported a GPX, import it to follow the actual roads.

## Set the drive mode and pacing

Choose Drive for every leg so the line hugs the ground and the car marker follows it. Give longer legs more time and short hops less, so the pacing feels like the real journey.

## Add the details that sell it

- A title card with the trip name and dates.
- A photo at each overnight stop.
- A road-trip soundtrack.
- A route colour that matches your vibe.

💡 For a planning version, skip the photos and just share the animated route so everyone can see the plan at a glance.

## Export and share

Render in 9:16 for Stories and Reels or 16:9 for a recap on YouTube, up to 4K. Post it before the trip to build excitement, and after to relive the miles.

**Your route. Your preview. Your video.**

With free styles, cameras and sounds: as many Full HD (1080p) exports as you like, at 30 fps with a RouteFlick watermark, up to 10 stops per trip. No account or card required to create and export. Pro: up to 4K at 60 fps, watermark removal and GPX/KML/GeoJSON import. Available output depends on your plan, browser and device.
