You trained for months; the finish-line photo is one second of it. A race recap video shows the whole thing -- the actual course drawn across real terrain, the climbs rising under the line, the distance counting to the number you earned. If a watch or bike computer recorded it, you can animate it.

About this guide and its evidence

Published by RouteFlick, the maker of the product described here. This is first-party guidance, not an independent review.

Route previews are actual exports. An example route illustrates a workflow; it does not prove every feature or a competitor's output. Export speed depends on your device.

Creator workflow and comparison documentation reviewed October 5, 2026. Named vendor sources support the documented facts; this is not a purchased-plan test or an export-speed benchmark. Unknown specifications are marked as not verified. Confirm current terms before buying.

## Watch the result before you use it

This is a finished RouteFlick video for **Camino Francés**, not an illustration or simulated interface.

Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port -> Pamplona -> Logroño -> Burgos -> León -> +1

## From your GPX to a video

1. Export the GPX from Garmin, Strava, Wahoo, Coros or wherever the race lives.
2. Import it (Pro) -- the route follows your exact recorded track, every switchback and out-and-back included.
3. Set the mode: walk for a marathon, cycle for a fondo -- the marker matches the sport.
4. Title card: race name, date, and your time as the subtitle. That line is the whole point.

## Make the course tell its story

- Turn the terrain up for a hilly course -- the gran fondo's big climb should look like one.
- Add photos at the moments that mattered: the start corral, the wall at 30 K, the finish.
- Distance badges in km or miles -- the number ticking up is the emotional engine.

## Triathlons and multi-stage events

Set each segment's mode separately -- swim leg as boat along the water, then bike, then run -- and the transitions read exactly like race morning felt. Multi-day stage races work the same way, one leg per stage.

💡 No GPX? Type the course's key points as stops instead -- start, the landmarks, the finish -- and the route snaps to real roads. Less exact, still a great recap.

Export vertical for the post-race Instagram, widescreen for the club's channel. Then sign up for the next one.
