Switzerland is the one trip where the transport is the destination -- so the map video, which is literally a video of the transport, fits it better than any other country. The job is simple: real rail lines, big terrain, let the Alps do the talking.

About this guide and its evidence

Published by RouteFlick, the maker of the product described here. This is first-party guidance, not an independent review.

Route previews are actual exports. An example route illustrates a workflow; it does not prove every feature or a competitor's output. Export speed depends on your device.

Creator workflow and comparison documentation reviewed October 5, 2026. Named vendor sources support the documented facts; this is not a purchased-plan test or an export-speed benchmark. Unknown specifications are marked as not verified. Confirm current terms before buying.

## The routes

- The classic: Zurich -> Lucerne -> Interlaken -> Zermatt -> St. Moritz -- ending on the Glacier Express corridor.
- The lakes version: add Geneva and Montreux for the western arc.
- The Bernina extension: continue St. Moritz -> Tirano -- the line crosses into Italy over the famous viaducts.

## The look

- Terrain as high as it goes -- Switzerland without relief is a spreadsheet.
- Winter style for ski season; Vivid for summer hiking green.
- Route colour: Swiss red. Obviously.
- Camera: Horizon -- the ~45° angle with sky past the peaks is the panorama-car view.

## Settings to copy

1. Speed 0.75-1x -- slow is right; these are the legs people take for the window.
2. Give Zermatt extra dwell with a Matterhorn photo -- it's the thumbnail.
3. Distances in km, visible -- the engineering is part of the story.

💡 This is the trip that sells Pro's terrain slider by itself -- export a 5-second test with terrain at zero and at full, and you'll never go back.
